Dr. Scott A. Rankin

Originally from La Habra, CA, Dr. Rankin currently resides in Cross Plains, WI. As professor and chair of the Food Science Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Rankin conducts extension programs in the area of dairy foods manufacturing and conducts research in small-molecule chemistry of dairy foods. He has published extensively in dairy foods research and has served as an expert witness on numerous cases involving dairy foods manufacturing. Dr. Rankin is the recipient of multiple academic scholarships and awards including the American Dairy Science Association Foundation Scholar award. Scott served as president of ADSA in 2013–14.
