Dr. Gerd Bobe
Gerd Bobe is associate professor in animal nutrition and physiology at Oregon State University. A native of Germany, he received an MS in nutritional physiology and a PhD in animal nutrition from Iowa State University. Bobe has worked since 2009 as professor in animal nutrition and physiology at Oregon State University, focusing on early disease detection and dietary disease prevention in transition dairy cows. Dr. Bobe has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and received the ADSA Hoyt Award in 2004. He served as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Dairy Science from 2014 to 2017 and began as a section editor in the physiology section in 2018.
